Monday, March 30th:

Crew:
  • 9am - Digital Crew on Zoom

Math:
  • After morning Crew, visit your math teacher’s Google Classroom site to view your math lesson and your Pearson Realize assignments

  • 10:00-10:30am - Join your math crew 

Literacy:
  • Independent Reading - 30+ minutes 

Expedition:
  • Watch the video called Partly Cloudy, then answer the reflection questions in the document Google Classroom
  • Google Classroom Exit Ticket:  How do you feel the lesson on Screencastify went for math today?

Challenge:
  • Typing Pal - 15 minutes
  • Math Facts - 10 minutes (practice using flashcards or print off a practice page HERE)
  • Daily Challenge: Create a jump rope routine or a dance routine to one of your favorite songs (the song must be school appropriate) and post your video on SeeSaw

We ALL Belong!

Any student, staff, or community member that walks through the doors of Fox Creek instantly becomes a member of our Crew.  In our classroom, we have had many discussions about how to make others feel welcome and what it looks like to be a member of our Crew.  Students continue to reflect on how showing and growing our Habits of Character has a positive impact on others and fosters a sense of belonging in our Crew.   One of the ways our Crew has worked on creating a culture of belonging in our classroom is through "Me Bags."  Each student brought in 3-5 items in a brown paper bag that helped us understand and learn more about each other.  Students shared their items with the Crew, then placed them on display in our "Crewseum" (Crew Museum).  Students established connections with each other that they didn't know they shared and worked to get to know each other on a deeper level.
