Crew:
  • 9am - Digital Crew Meeting on ZOOM

Literacy:
  • Independent Reading - 30+ minutes
  • Continue researching your selected animal.  You can use your library books, Epic books (class code: brz0420), Kiddle, or KidRex. 
  • Be sure to have at least 7 specific facts about your animal under each category listed in your Expedition notebook.
  • The categories are:
    • Physical Features 
      • What does your animal look like?
    • Habitat 
      • Where does your animal live?
    • Predator/Prey 
      • What does your animal eat?  What eats your animal?
    • Communication
      • How does your animal talk?
    • Family Life
      • How does your animal take care of other animals of the same species? 
    • Life Cycle
      • How does your animal change throughout its life?
    • Dangers/Harm
      • What dangers or challenges does your animal face that can cause them harm?
    • Interesting Facts
      • What facts about your animal did you find surprising or fascinating?

Math:
  • iReady Math lessons - 30 minutes
  • Work to complete unfinished Pearson Realize assignments for 30 minutes

Expedition:
  • Watch the short video titled "Soar" and respond to the reflection questions on the attached document in Google Classroom.
  • Google Classroom Exit Ticket:  What is something new you learned this week?  Tell about it. (Type your response in the right corner of your screen instead of in the comment box)

Challenge:
  • Typing Pal - 15 minutes
  • Math Facts - 10 minutes (practice using flashcards or print off a practice page HERE)
  • Daily Challenge: Build something that shows what makes you happy (go to SeeSaw for further instructions)
