2021-2022 School Year

Hello Crew!  Welcome to the new school year!  I am looking forward to meeting you at our Open House on Friday, August 6th from 3-4pm.  If you are unable to make it at that time, I will see you on the first day of school on Monday, August 9th.  An email will be sent with further details.  I'm excited for a fun and adventurous year together!

We ALL Belong!

Any student, staff, or community member that walks through the doors of Fox Creek instantly becomes a member of our Crew.  In our classroom, we have had many discussions about how to make others feel welcome and what it looks like to be a member of our Crew.  Students continue to reflect on how showing and growing our Habits of Character has a positive impact on others and fosters a sense of belonging in our Crew.   One of the ways our Crew has worked on creating a culture of belonging in our classroom is through "Me Bags."  Each student brought in 3-5 items in a brown paper bag that helped us understand and learn more about each other.  Students shared their items with the Crew, then placed them on display in our "Crewseum" (Crew Museum).  Students established connections with each other that they didn't know they shared and worked to get to know each other on a deeper level.
