Friday, March 27th:
Crew:
  • 9am - Digital Crew on Zoom
Literacy:
  • Independent Reading - 30+ minutes 
  • Finish research pages on your animal
Math:
  • iReady Math lessons - 30 minutes
  • Work to complete any unfinished Pearson Realize assignments 30 minutes
Expedition:
  • Watch  Going the Extra Length and respond to the reflection questions in Google Classroom.
  • Google Classroom Exit Ticket:  Write three words to describe this first week of remote/digital learning at home.
Challenge:

  • Typing Pal - 15 minutes
  • Math Facts - 10 minutes (practice using flashcards or print off a practice page)
  • Try TickTick if you want to list your daily activities and check them off (like a digital to-do list)

We ALL Belong!

Any student, staff, or community member that walks through the doors of Fox Creek instantly becomes a member of our Crew.  In our classroom, we have had many discussions about how to make others feel welcome and what it looks like to be a member of our Crew.  Students continue to reflect on how showing and growing our Habits of Character has a positive impact on others and fosters a sense of belonging in our Crew.   One of the ways our Crew has worked on creating a culture of belonging in our classroom is through "Me Bags."  Each student brought in 3-5 items in a brown paper bag that helped us understand and learn more about each other.  Students shared their items with the Crew, then placed them on display in our "Crewseum" (Crew Museum).  Students established connections with each other that they didn't know they shared and worked to get to know each other on a deeper level.
